About Me

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Government and International Affairs at Lingnan University in Hong Kong. My research areas include:

  • Political theory of work
  • Workplace democracy
  • Corporate power
  • Gig economy
  • Platform governance
  • Labour injustice

My research focuses on business corporations and democratic theory, particularly in the workplace. Much of my work is empirically informed political theory addressing corporate power and workplace injustice. Specifically, I am interested in how business corporations exercise power over workers through various labor control mechanisms and the associated normative issues. My work has been published in journals such as the Journal of Applied Philosophy, Journal of Social Philosophy, Philosophy & Social Criticism, Review of Social Economics, New Media & Society, Information, Communication & Society, and Social Movement Studies, among others.
